Dang Hawkhead. That 14 rocks!!!!!

Here's what I did yesterday with my 24. Had a penchant for doodling something up. Sorry that the pics suck. It's hard to take a pic one handed and remain steady.

Went on a huge adventure today. My father in-law invited me out to go snowmobiling with him.

Strapping on the BK2 in the morning.

The BK2 sitting on the back of the snowmobile after using the pommel to smash all the ice away from the bottom of the door so we could get into the storage building.

Splitting some wood for kindling. Needed to start the wood stove to heat up the building.

The ice / rocks / bit of door that I smacked left a nice mark on the pommel and the blade has some use marks on it now.

Back safely at home after some mineral oil loving.

Thanks for the opportunity at this generous give-away. I am an aspiring Beckerhead awaiting my number.

Cheers,

Tim

I then built a fire pit in girlfriends backyard, using Bk11/shovel to dig the hole.

Used Bk11 to fill sides of pitt in with dirt.

Used the Bk11 to then cut some old screens out of the frames so I could lay them under about an inch or so of dirt to keep the pitt from becoming a total mess when it rains. This dulled the knife alotttttttttt.

I keep forgetting I need to get in on this one..Got some new scales for the 10... I need to do something with it now :)

This looks like so much fun! Totally wish I could join in. Living in an urban city makes it very difficult to do any outdoor work :/

I understand that bud, I live in the middle of Philadelphia and we are not even allowed to carry a multi-tool or SAK with a blade on us here... but he said it could be indoors or outdoors. There is a guy who sharpened a pencil and some have cooked. Hell a year ago or so i made a fire bow drill kit in my living room just to show my daughter and also posted pics somewhere here as well. Lots of stuff you can still do indoors to get in on this.

I was suppose to be going to a cabin up in the mountains this weekend for my 30th birthday and was waiting until i got there to do something for this. But the weatherman tricked us into rescheduling the trip so now ill just have to come up with something indoors to do this weekend instead. Cutting my cake or something :D

There's always cooking! I need to get some pics up from using a BK9 to cut my birthday cake yesterday...

I still need to upload the last pic...

Get your pics up guys! No stress, I'll let this contest run for at least another week to give as much of you guys as possible a chance. That doesn't mean you gotta rest on your laurels! Go do something with your Becker knife already :D. And while you're at it, take some pics and you might win an Eskabar.

Some fine entries ITT. I love how they display the number of possibilities you have with BK&T. Keep 'em coming ;)

Hey all!
Pretty new to the forum here, this looks like a pretty fun place!
It's been raining cats and dogs here for the last week. I had hoped to do something out-of-doors for this, but I just might melt if I get too wet :-)
Decided to use the BK7 to make dinner tonight; teriyaki chicken bento thingy...
First the veggie prep:

Now that's done.

Next, the chicken!

Mmmm, thigh meat, my favorite!!

All marinated up! I'm getting hungry...

Dinner is served!
Delicious!
Thank you for watching :-)

My picture was born out of laziness. A bunch of people at work were out, we're short handed already so that means long days for the rest of us. When I got home there were no clean steak knives. They were all in the dishwasher. I'd made steak the day before and was having leftovers. BK11 to the rescue!

I really want a new 14! I have already purchased new factory zytel handles, I just need the knife to put them on.

I took my 17 for a hike to look for shed antlers last week in Eastern Utah in the Book Cliffs. I stopped for lunch and to made a fire to warm up with some feather sticks I made with the 17. I found a lion-killed mule deer buck with a broken neck. The predators and scavenagers had picked him pretty clean. I saw quite a few live bucks, but they were all still packing their antlers, I think I was a little early. I will head out and try again this week. I found one older shed from a few years ago. Hiked about 6 miles on the GPS. Not the most successful shed hunting trip, but it's great to get out and enjoy some dry ground hiking.

Dax

Be sure to enter, or update your post with pics this week or during the following weekend if you haven't already. Somewhere in the beginning of next week, I'll pick a winner.
