Anyone who believes this can try me. Offer me any deal for any one of my trades and I'll show you. I have no problem sending first. Just make sure that you mail what you promise to mail. Who wants a wal-mart knife when you traded for a Ranger? I traded a Leek and KaBar Warthog, over $100 worth of knives for a Hanging On The Wall O1 Headed Hawk. I got the package and the head looked like it had been buried in the ground for a couple years. What the hell do I do with this? So I call back- no response. Ok, he told me the phone was expensive. Email- no response. Four weeks later and he calls with "Where's the knives?". Well, the item received was not the one pictured and I dont feel the trade is true/fair. We both agreed on miscomm and thats that.

Over. End Of Story. No Hard Feelings Right? Now these bad postings? For what? Why did you never tell me the thing was rusted out. Thats would be considered here as something like stealing if I tried to trade someone a rusty knife for two new ones. What type of sense does that make? Yeah, he probably did do a good deal. Any guesses why? I would like to know. I feel cheated for even sending this junk back. Be serious. Im gonna upload the pics so ya'll can see this one.

I'll send a trusted member the damn tomahwak so it can be passed around. And like I said in my other post: give some good feed back about this whole situation and you can win a free KaBAr. The person who makes the most sense, in my favor or not, or voted to be the best mediator is the winner in my opinion. Now its all about my integrity which wont be compromised by a fake trade. I have the original pic on my computer so I could find more info on it. I was told its O1, by Max Burnet. I couldn't find any info, went by the pics, and was dissapointed. I was ready for a working tool and got a rusted peice of metal. It looks like it was done on purpose which is cool if you have it for decor, but I asked if I could use it to throw/ work with. 100% of the time the trader coming to you with a deal should tell you the item is rusted out. Espescially when the picture shows a new hawk. ZZ you should have left it to a good return with miscomm. Now everyone will doubt your integrity with these pics which is BS cause I still think you are a good guy. Even with the smartass jerkoff pics.
 
Anyone want photos, post email or explain how to get them on here. Once you receive them you can post them. I will send the rusted hawk to whoever is most trusted for verification. I will go the extra 1000 miles to prove my honesty here. Honor is at stake now.
 
my 2 cents as follows.

SHIT HAPPENS NO NEED TO GET YOUR PANTIES IN A TWIST

i say just return the hawk and get it over with if you guys don't wanna trade/talk/see each other then just put each other on the block list.

its YOUR responsibility to check out the good, bad, ugly section.. if not atleast ask for a few references to check and see if the person is ok to trade with.

if they are relatively new to the forums and haven't done any trading then you need to just fuck it and give the guy the benefit of the doubt.

there is no need for a mediator in this situation. send him back the hawk and bury the hatchet cause its pointless arguing on an internet forum.

your integrity is not compromised by this because there is no fake trade, rather i see it as miscommunication and a bit of messing up on both your parts.

so like i said earlier, just return the hawk and be done with it.

regardless of if you give out a ka-bar or not you will get plenty of opinions (2 cents) on this forum although it is very kind of you to offer a knife to us members.

if you do plan on giving the ka-bar to me i'll give it to my friend who is in need of a knife on our summer hiking trip.

I don't think you can make this apparent sincerity up... I'm still waiting for pictures, but I think knifer is going to prove his honesty.

BTW, have you gotten your knives back?
 
JC read all the posts and since he finally called me tonight 4 weeks later the situation was solved. Hawk was being returned. No probs. Then bad posts. Panties in a twist? Wish it were that simple. Never had that happen.. and when I am dealing with thousands in potential trades to me that can make me think about the way ya'll see me as a trader. My integrity is compromised to a few people who might not take the time to read all this crap. We'll see how this ends. Cheers to all. My job is to untwist the panties of the young lasses who mess up and leave it to others to sort out. Used to live by letting God sort them out across the lands, but violence is the easy way for the cowards. Let them live to reap the rewards of lies.
 
Post email addys and the pics will come. You can have the hawk for a few days if you are trustworthy. Tell me if it looks like the non-rusted perfect condition one in the pic. Any takers for justice?
 
I'm really not one to receive emails with attachments from strangers (don't want to catch a nasty virus!), but you know you can just post the pictures yourself... upload them to imageshack.us then give us the link.
 
I have known Jake since 2001. A more honest man you will not find here on BFC, Jake's word is his bond. At least in my opinion.

Without seeing the Axe I cannot decide this, however based on my knowledge of Jake and being involved in mediating a convoluted deal between Jake and a former BFC member that ended with absolute proof that both were telling the truth, Jake is an honest man.
