Who Wants To Make Me A Folder Cheap And Fast?

Well, since this is the custom knife forum, I figured this was the place to post...

I'm looking to have one or two prototypes of a folder concept I've been working on for a while, because I'm too buisy to do it myself and it requires some machining I don't have the equipment or necessary skill to do.

I've checked out some of the custom maker's sites and they seem to either mostly do their own designs or want 1,000 bucks for something you'll get in a couple years, so I'm posting here to see if I can't find anybody who'd like to tackle this project.

The design is relatively simple, a modification of the Buck 560/XlTi-main difference being the lock which is a hybrid of the clasplock and lockback, a straight instead of concave clip, thumstud, and a lanyard hole. I'm looking at spending U.S.$200-$300 a piece, and I'd like them in two or three months.

I don't have actual blueprints drawn up, but I can send my notes and sketches(I visualize stuff and then just make it, so I rarely work from blueprints).

Anyway, I'm looking more for offers from makers than referals to makers, as there's just too many out there to write them all. Especialy considering so far nobody could meet the price or deadline requirements. I realize that that's faster and for less than most usualy work, but the thing is outside of that envelope it gets easier and easier for me to just make it myself. Besides, the honor of bringing my concept to life should be reward enough

Anyway, if you want to make a bid, you can reach me at Snickersnee@AltaVista.net

-Thanks-

Snickersnee, what materials are you wanting to be used?
