Who wants to see a Titanium / CPM 3V Paramilitary 2 ?

I thought there were already plans for a Ti PM2. I like the G10 just fine. If I was going to wish for an upgraded handle I would wish for slightly contoured Micarta.

And since Cruwear is on the way maybe we don't need 3V. I don't know how much difference there really is, but 3V has a better reputation and/or more name recognition. I have M4 also and for my use I'm not sure how much difference there is between 3V/Cruwear and M4.
 
To my understanding 3v is much tougher than M4. In the world of stainless super steels M4 us tough but when you compare to the carbon steels like A2, 52100, and 3v, M4 isn't in the same leauge in toughness. 3v also had decent edge retention (siimilar to s30v) for how tough it is and is semi stainless. Im not too familiar with cruwear but I i would be interested if it was similar to 3v

3V Millie? Just get a Cruwear Millie. Given how close they are in composition I seriously doubt you could tell any real difference between the 2 in day to day use.

I think that CruWear is not a CPM steel. So while chemically they are similar, their performance mag be very different.

Disclaimer... I could be wrong
 
The Cruwear Mule was not CPM. The Military and Manix were CPM.

I would like a 3V Para2. I would also like a Ti Para2 with a integral comp lock/ I don't think that I need both of these combined into the same knife though.
 
id like to see a manix2 or para2 in 3V
also maxamet in either also, but not the light weight, because the lightweight you cannot remove the blade from.

The original ones were a pinned pivot but the current ones have a screw pivot.
 
Cruwear is what 3v, pd1 and zwear type steels came from. The CPM process just refined it. You will NOT notice any difference in any of them with a folder. They all need maintenance as they are not stainless, expect s30vish edge retention, fantastic edge durability and resistance to chipping. Great steel
