Who will make it to atlanta ?!

I was stuck in Atlanta all day yesterday because a friend's luggage decided it wanted to take the next flight out of Chicago instead of the one he was on. My house is about two hours from Atlanta, I left at 9am, didn't get home until after 7.

Needless to say, lots and lots of purty knives aside, I've had enough of Atlanta for a while.
 
I will be there but not setting up a display. I'm riding down from CT on my motorcycle and space is at a premium.

I will be bringing along a couple of knives that I engraved to show.

Armand...You need to get one of the 90.00 flights and stay with me and Dave! Over the last year or so you have really gotten into Bucks and this is a prime chance for you to meet Joe, CJ and a BUNCH of forum members,BCCI members,Buck nuts,and many of the worlds best custom knife makers! Alanta is a one of a kind show....And bring that proto DU 112....

NO! cot in room......KJ would not like to share.....I spent a few hours today getting my case, 112's ready.I have to make room for what I hope is my latest addition to the toy box..."The Last Custom Shop 112" Joe might be bringing it to Alanta. Dave has a B day present that will go in and maybe, just maybe, I'll find a cool 112 at the show...

Ridin down on my Concours. Will you be at the Buck display?

Last year I really enjoyed the Buck section. The guys I met were EXTREMELY friendly and the knives were incredible. It was my first trip to Blade and I was on sensory overload BIG time:D

chose post falls so missed you last year
yes the buck folks there are all supper!
seems every one i have met is that way
i am the only one that looses cool some times

yes it is a heck of a show to go to for a first timer and i also was over loaded
took tell sat night to come around to normal again
could have done it two more days!!

The first knife show I ever attended was the 07 blade show....what a blast!!! I did spend to much time at major manufactors instead of the custom knife makers.There is soooooooo much to take in in only three days.my first goal is to learn as much as I can about 112's...Lot's of Buck expert's in one spot. I would LOVE to get Leroy,Chuck,and Joe in one spot just to chat about rare/odd 112's! I'm a gonna get a box of donuts and see if I can make it happen...

Gee, I feel a little bad, I work in Smyrna, GA and I am about 5 miles from the Galleria. Last year I had a Thursday dinner with some knife collectors and makers. This year, I plan on leaving work at 1:45 on Friday to get to the blade show at 2 PM.

I might make the Buck annual meeting too, that is if I drive all that way...:rolleyes:

wow guy it was great to meet you yesterday!
i was checking out some items to send back with leroy for a custom
and missed you earlier!
today ome on back and sit a spell and jest chat with some of the guys!

the show has as much excitement as the first time i was there 2 years ago!
