who will surface grind my bar stock?

I have a piece of BG-42 that's about 24" x 2" x .200 with the scale still on it and need it ground down to about .187. Can anyone tell me of a reputable place to send it that won't break the bank? Thanks.

Most of the time the manufacturer does that.

Find a local machine shop. That way you won't have to ship it and can get right to work.

there will be a local place likely that could likely do it if you scheduled a time. local steel supplier should be able to recommend a place.
