Wholesale knife supplier suggestions for new online store?

Hey guys,
I've been toying with the idea for a while now. I have decided to start an online retail store selling knives. The ones we love, and the ones that work.

The problem is...I am in Australia! Great weather, great country BUT! I cannot find a wholesale knife distributor anywhere. I have an account with a couple of US ones, but the shipping cost is absolutely KILLER! It steals any potential business continuable profit away making it impossible to run a small online store.

I'm at a dead end. So I thought I'd throw it to you and ask what suggestions you may have. Any?

You might actually have to open a brick and mortar store and become more of an authorized dealer, rather than a simple online only dealer.

I am not aware of any Aussie wholesalers, cheapest way is US wholesalers as far as I know, it's the way I do it. If there is a better alternative I would like to know about it.

Hey guys, thanks for all your help. Unfortunately, there are no decent hunting/survival knife wholesalers in Australia as you said.

I've gone with an american wholesaler. (( rules violation ))
