Whoopsie! New BK14, new bite

damn, okay, that does it. time to steal the HI safety thread :)

rule #1 short form: never ever hold a sheathed edged tool such that your valuable flesh is in line with the edge... sharp things go THROUGH sheaths and then you... clam grip...

that said, hey, great pix, thanx :) love that stuff. post more as you heal up...

I have seen lots of pics where people get bit wrapping their neckers and frankly I don't understand why. Why not just put the blade in a vice and yank all you want on it while wrapping it?

haha, more cuts come from wrapping that handle I swear! Heal quick man

I recently cut myself wrapping a new izula, across the top of the thumb through nail a little as well. I kinda grunted, started cursing and went running upstairs, girlfriend comes home from work catches me taking a picture of the bloody cut with blood on my hands looks at me and goes aww christ your gonna post that on your stupid knife site aren't you!?

Here's a better pic of the bite - fancy stitches and all. :p

Thought about removing the stitches with the offending weapon but settled on using my Vic Huntsman.

Posted this in the multi-tool forum as well.

Minor surgery. Had some stitches...
