That steel is incredible.

it only takes 13 folds to get there. some are folded in 2's and some are folded in 3's

so 2 X 2 = 4 x 2 = 8 x 2 = 16
but 3 x 3 = 9 x 3 = 27 x 3 = more!

hey i did the best i could with the photos.

this steel is like trying to take a picture of a mirror and get the mirror and not the thing it is reflecting. that is the trick.

i will endeavor to do better next time.

one more fold cold be 2.6 mil. unless you do that fold in 3's which could be 3.9 mil. ????

we have one pattern that is folded 14 times. but i don't know the layer count as of now.
