Who's Drinkin'?????

Bottle of Victoire champagne yesterday ..... Testing it out. Not bad for a 36$ champagne. Paid twice more for half as good champagne.
 
Yup. Three weeks dry. All work and no play makes jack a dull boy. I need to be seeing two of everything. Alchohol induced double vision. Only thing I need to do is decided if my poison is beer or liquor.
 
The girl wants pina coladas today; so that's happening.


For her, that is.
I've got a partial bottle of Peligroso that needs some work done to lighten it up a bit more; so that will be my project.

Try a mango pina coladas. Pretty dang good. I'm looking into a bloody marey or five.
 
Was planning a surprise party for my better half's 50th birthday...... Bought plenty of booze.... Her dad passed away Thursday .... Today is her b-day, planning a funeral instead of celebrating a b-day.

.....believe me when I tell ya ....that "plenty of booze" I bought, will be drunk sooner than later.....

Started with some Willett 3 year rye tonight, then moved to the bourbon category with a little Weller 12 yr, then some Elmer T. Lee, and now some Elijah Craig 12 year.

All great stuff.
 
That Elmer T. Lee is some good stuff. I haven't tried the Elijah Craig yet. Looking forward to it.
