Wow this slipped all the way to page 3. Did everybody sober up when I wasnt looking? Yeungling is on tap tonight for me.

Mezcal Mortal. A little something that I picked up in Mexico City a couple weeks ago.



I was a little worried from the label that it might be aimed at the hipster douchebag crowd, but if it is, those hipster douchebags have much better taste than I thought.

Very nice neat.

Subtle and smooth. Not at all overbearing as tequila often is.

And with a particularly happy buzz, like I get with sake.

400 Conejos Mezcal.



I was looking for stuff in Mexico City that I couldn't get locally.
The guy at the liquor store said this was a good one for not a lot of money (about $20 US).
Drinking it neat. Tastes like really good tequila.
 

Broke into a less common bottle this afternoon. Poured another 4 oz after this pic, and I'm not ready to give up, yet.
Waiting for the GO! on the battle grade ASH, PIMP 3, something.... throw a rat a bone, will ya?
How am I supposed to get my first Busse without your cooperation?

Me too!!!!!...... I've been reading about that beer (from the posts here) for a couple years.... Been dying to try it but it isn't available in Canada, at least my end of it.
