Who's going to the Chesapeak Knife Show in MD?

FENCER,
I went to high school at Suburban. I came down that big hill in front of the high school on a 10-speed bike once, and the brakes flew off. Then I melted the soles of my sneakers trying to slow down. I was going about 60 mph. I crashed into a fluffy-looking bush to stop. Miraculouly, I was uninjured. My brother, who was with me, almost wiped out laughing at me.

Um... exact same thing happened to me, only in Hong Kong. Well, instead of crashing into a fluffy-looking bush, I flew first onto concrete and a manhole cover, then I slid into the bush. I also managed to get out unscathed, except for small scratches on my hands. The bike was a little bent up, but fixable. My brother told me he thought a car was skidding, from the sound of my sneakers. Hehe, the bliss of stupid childhood stunts.

Anyway, back on topic, I look forward to seeing all of you there. Look for the Chinese kid with the mohawk. -:)

I'll be the guy with the shaved head in the OD green TAD Explorer jacket. Hey Gary I'll email you my cell #. Let's do lunch.

The last Chesapeake show that I attended (with Lifter and Ancient Sul) had 2 rooms of exhibitors. There was a main room and a smaller room across the hall. Just a heads up here, since attendees at the recent NYC Custom Knife show mentioned that they didn' t know there were 2 seperate show rooms there! Coffee is served for attendees- nice and brisk in the showrooms!

RJ Martin will be there as will I. I will have a drop point in desert iron wood. My first with desert iron wood.
Please stop by and introduce yourself,
Dan Farr

I am going to try to be there. I havent heard anything about this show in years, so I keep missing it. Thanks for the heads up.

I'll be in "Balmer" for a trade show that week/weekend- if we get the booth (30' x 50' w/ heavy equipment) down in time, I'll be there.

I'll be there. It's the only knife shpow I get to go to. It's a good time and it's great getting to meet people from BFC. We all need to meet up, and feel free to bring some things for show and tell. -Lev

I will be there even though I am not on the list of makers on there flyer????????
Hope you can make it.
BRAD

The Jones Brothers will be there.
We always look forward to this show.

See you guys there!

Gary,
I will have at least one sword at the show, maybe 2.
That is unless I sell them before then.

Are we planning to meet at a table at a time? That would be good. Two years ago everyone met at the Let Robertson table at noon. We could do something similar. Any proposals out there?

Regards,
Doug

This is a very very nice show. Al Polkowski has been with this show since they started it. I understand he will be having Polkowski favorites and something new, spoke with him today. Don't know the name yet. Don't be shy. Let him know who you are. You are one great bunch of guys and, believe it or not, he is a participant here. He may know who you are already.

This is one show I won't miss.

Broomhilda

My wife and I will be there.

Look for the sad guy with the brown hair, reddish beard, who is sighing a lot. I'll be packing a flask of single malt and toasting my friend Kirby Van De Griek, a knifemaker, who died this past 4th of July weekend.

It will be nice to see/meet all of you that I've not met before.

Best,
Jim

Black "ManOwaR" T-shirt, and Black leather jacket (probably, unless too hot with all the bodies in there).

I'll take my digital camera, so I could send photos to you guys ( I can't post them here), maybe to someone who CAN post here. Does anyone know if flash photography is allowed or not? Also, requests? I got the ones above.
