Who's sick of Sebenza Good/Sebenza Bad threads?

Wow......Sebbie lovers.....Sebbie haters.....get a grip.


I may be alone here, (and if so, so be it) but this is starting to seem a little "bitchy".
 
I would whole-heartedly agree.

And just as a reality check as to if it’s really a problem with CRK knives, try and start a tread about how you don’t like Benchmade, Busse, Coldsteel, Emerson, Microtech, Sog, Spyderco, or Strider knives (and just to put it in print, I don’t have a problem with any of these knives) and see what kind of response you get. I have seen the same style (argumentative) of threads on most, if not all of the above knives at one time or another and they all boil down to mine is better. It’s kind of like getting into a discussion about motorcycles, trucks or your favorite sports team. It’s a very subjective topic, but people tend to forget that.
 
I could go a good long time without seeing another of these threads, but I have a feeling that isn't going to happen. I guess I am going to have to learn to ignore the Sebenza threads; they always seem to end up going in the same direction.

One thing I have learned very well because of these threads is that some people like/love the Sebenza and some people don't.

Not me! I just love hearing the uninformed opinions of trolls presented as facts! I can't wait to hear the next comment calling the integrity of a well know and respected knifemaker into question by someone who admits that he has no actual experience with the makers knives! Lets start slinging s**t at everyone more successful than us! Let's ban Everyone! That would be a public service!
 
I agree. Enough is enough.

We all agree that Sebenza is the best folder out there, right ?

I have never found the BEST of type any knife yet. If I had I would be bummed out because why would I keep looking if I already had the best. :)

That's the point, somtimes ya just love to bitch a little. Feeding the trolls is a good way to get it out of your system, and hey, you're asking for it if you post to one of these threads anyway! So don't take it personal, just have fun with it. They'll eventually tire of it, in the mean time if it bothers you, just skip those threads, their's seldom much meaningfull in them anyway. It would be a boring life, if you never got rug burn wrestling in the living room!

Same with me. I am not really "sick" the the theads about CR. The key is, if you don't want to, simply don't read them.
 
The Sebenza stuff kinda puts me off coming to the 'Blade Discussion Forum'. I could understand if people had new things to say about them, but given the number of threads on the topic, I don't see that that's possible.

One could argue that if you don't wanna read the Sebenza threads, don't read'em, but them just being here puts me off.

I don't even bother to look at them. I know what I like and though I can appreciate the opinions of others I think that these threads serve no useful purpose other than inciting flame wars. We have seen these threads pop up far too often in the past few months that I think we have a pretty good idea who loves and who hates the Sebenza. People have different tastes and not everyone can agree on what is best. Though we would like to convince those who disagree with what we as individuals carry we all know that will never happen. So I will just sit back and continue to ignore the "Best/Worst" threads, especially those relating to the Sebenza.
 
I can't afford a Sebenza but in my opinion they have always been pretty good knives. It just seems as if the lovers and the haters have gotten out of hand. Enough now, I really don't give a damn....

Amen! Don't own one, don't want one, don't care who does own one. No "thing" is worth any hard feelings with another person.
 
I would rather have a kick in the head with a golf shoe, than read another Sebenza Pro/Con thread! :D
