Who's sick of Sebenza Good/Sebenza Bad threads?

C'mon, guys, the Pro/Con Sebenza posts are always good for at least a chuckle, if not a downwright belly laugh. It's like reading the morning funnies.

Gee....I don't care about sebenzas, but can I start an 'I love Schrade Waldens' thread?

Huh? Can I? Can I?

Ok, I'll compromise. All knives suck in their own respective ways....except the Sebenza.:D

Good Evening All-

This applies to many frequently-asked questions on BladeForums, but don't people know how to USE THE DANG "SEARCH" FEATURE already? Sheesh!

You can't spin a dead cat without hitting a Sebenza thread, or a TEOTWAWKI thread, or a lockback vs. AXIS thread. Not a flame, but it seems the Sebenza fans are adept at avoiding use of the search feature.

I think these Sebenza threads are great. I found out
why Sebensas "suck." And I found out why they are so
"awesome." Unfortunately there were a few personal
attacks or slurs about others' character but then what
do you expect out of a bunch of tough guys-knifeknuts.
I would like to see more of these "discussions" about other
knives and makers. How about a discuss about Ralph knives
or how about Mayo knives-which I consider to be the most
hyped-up knives of all. Boy, that statement is going to
get me in trouble-I bet. And guess what, I have never owned
a Mayo knife and for the prices they are going for now-I
probably never will. But, to be honest, I do wish I had
a TNT. Anyway, let's stop bashing each other and direct
our comments toward the knives and why we are so foolish
to be spending our hard earned dollars for these toys.
And toys they are, just more toys for us to acquire before
we depart. Ain't life grand!

Mike

TEOTWAWKI = The End Of The World As We Know It, which made for some very popular threads during the whole Y2K mess. BladeForums is chock full of threads asking what knives people will be carrying in their "bugout bags" when the national power grid goes down!

NOT A REALLY KNIFEMAKER?!!! Are you nuts? Chris was making knives by hand loooong before he started utilizing a CNC machine. Have your facts in order before you make idiotic statements such as that.

Read this to read up on CRK's History.

Not a real knifemaker......jeesh! Some people have nerve.

Whoa! Ease up there K.V. before you blow a gasket!;) I'm gonna go out on a limb here and say that jeepcj8 was making a tongue-in-cheek remark because somebody on Brownshoe's thread mentioned how CNC was a cheap method of producing knives, and as such, CRK was nothing special (this is a paraphrase). Of course I could be wrong, but I bet that is what he meant. Would have helped if he added a smilie or two to show he was being sarcastic though.:D

never seen a Sebenzer, hell I don't even know what one is but at the price, don't want to.

I am a medium rung production knife guy......just appeals to me to have 3 or 4 good productions rather than 1 custom I'll be too scared to use anyway;)

I don't think that matters what kind of knife it is nor the cost. . .there will always be a few amungst us that are high strung ! ;)

Why not open a sub-forum in the CRK forum which has the following description: "SEBENZA ONLY! Don't post Sebbie threads elsewhere and don't post non-Sebenza threads in here!"

Sorry, but I love these threads. Can't get enough of them.

In fact, I bought a Large Classic with Bloodwood inlays yesterday.

Giddy-up!

:D
