Okay, who's your favourite of the choices above and WHY!?

I will go first and no surprise that it is the CT, why - because it is the perfect all rounder in my opinion...BTW, dont let the fact that you may not have handled some of them deter your choice, I just want to see what designs are favourable to the eye more than anything. How else can we get the swamp to produce the rat Mojo! (sorry, thinking out loud):)

I included the new coot not because it is INFI, but to see if the new colour would / could sway opinion...so, pretend that it is standard SR101.

A lil' gundy test so to speak!:D

Let the games begin! I will link from Ratchat too...

hr wins over the ct by a nose!

i like the howler because it is more like a hunter for me and an easy carry on foot.

when i don't have to carry it on me i move up in size to the tramp. sounds crazy but when i'm on foot i don't wander as far from camp as when i'm mobile. so if i get stuck on my four wheeler or dirt bike 40 miles from camp i feel like i need a bigger tool.

if i get stuck on foot i just finish my beer grab my howler and walk the ten minutes back to camp.:)

sorry guys, I was unaware that a basic member could not have say in a poll (seems stupid if you ask me)...state your opinion would be just fine...

In contravention of all logic, I chose one of the models that I don't own...the Camp Tramp. I have a Battle Rat, a Ratchet and a Bandicoot and while I love 'em all, I suspect that the Camp Tramp would be the most practical model for me. The CT seems to be just the right size and configuration to take advantage of the best qualities of Swamp Rat knives. The BR is a great knife, but it's a tad too large to be carried in many circumstances. The smaller knives are excellent tools, but the ergonomic Rat handle really excels in a knife that is large enough for real chopping. The CT strikes a perfect balance between the two extremes. I'll probably end up owning all of the Rat models, but if I could only choose one it would probably be the Camp Tramp (preferably in Desert Tan)

Of course, I'd have to re-evaulate my preferences if Gundy ever talks them into making a Rat Mojo...;)

Now, why would you think we would ever do something like this ;):D:D

(now must get back to going through all these darn emails...humpf....:( )

My favorite... definitely the coot, now with any luck the INFIcoot.

I happen to love big knives, but something about the design of the coot speaks to me. Other knives I love all have 7+ inch blades.

Bandicoot (Desert Tan) for sure. I just wish I had checked in here last night when Variant Eric posted the Tan INFI 'Coot limited release.

It'll be my favorite, even above the American Kensei I have. A2 is nice but INFI is better. Nuclear tough and bred for the desert! Jerry may be furious but we reap all the benefits. WOO - HOO! Can't wait to get it and bring it to my Sayoc class. They'll freak! This knife will blow away anything else that's been made... with the exception of the Busse folder, of course.

I voted Battle Rat...'Cause I'm of the school of thought that "Bigger is better".:).

I tell ya, the Paul's Ratchet was something nifty when you put tan pants on it.

I've handled ALL the mentioned knives--Everyone who can NEEDS to make Blade. :)

My favorite, though? BATTLE RAT! TAN!

I'm a big blade nut. :)

I love the feel and chopping ability of my BR, but I use my HR a whole lot more than my BR.....I use my HR around the house for just about everything.......HR is my favorite!!!!:D
