Who's Your Team?

Born and raised in Cincinnati so I'm a Reds, Bengals, Bearcat fan. Like NASCAR also, first race I ever watched was the 2001 Daytona 500 where Sr. died so I follow the 88 as a result. I don't get into any specific team in the NBA, just a casual watcher. Also love me some SEC football, wife went to Auburn so I watch them a lot and I've liked the Gators for no special reasons since I was a kid. The NFL reigns supreme in my house.

Football: The only team that counts: Dallas Cowboys
College: Texas A&M University Gig Em
NBA: Dallas Mavericks
MLB Texas Rangers
NHL: Dallas Stars

The whole pro basketball thing, I couldn't care less about either.

Basketball has always been my sport (other than Golf) and yet Pro Basketball is a couldn't care less for me while College Basketball is my #1 fav.

BTW - Until the Avs are kicked out of the playoffs (which hopefully won't be against the Wild), I'm pronouncing Andy's last name with the french pronunciation like Patrick Roy.

Golf: Phil Mickelson, Bubba, The Fury (by far my favorite), and Tom Watson. Yes.. he's still playing!
all time fave: The Shark

Between my wife and I, we have 5 degrees from LSU. Geaux Tigers!

FIFY!

I am an OU Sooner football fan first and foremost. I have pretty much lost interest in most pro sports. However, I still follow the Texans (ugh, what a horrible season) and the Broncos. I grew up a Cowboys fan, but Jeruh Jones foxed that!

I am also a big Lax fan. My son played lacrosse at Texas Tech (club team). as for NCAA Lax, I catch a few regulars season games a year. During the tournament, I usually pick an underdog team or two to follow that play scrappy D. Navy, UVA and Princeton come to mind. That said, anyone who follows the sport had to love the "Cuse teams with the Gait brothers and the Powells.

Used to play, but we don't have a college series here. Just pro clubs with sub teams in lower divisions and junior teams.

The Bulls have been struggeling a bit lately...

I was born in DC and have been around here for over 40 years. I've stood by our teams through a lot of bad seasons and now things are starting to look up.

Proud Homer here...
Redskins
Nationals
Wizards
Caps
George Mason Basketball

I don't get into DC sports too much, but it's good to see the Wizards in the playoffs. They have a likable team. Will be rooting for them tonight. I don't have the patience for regular season basketball at any level, but LOVE all post season basketball. Will be rooting for the Trailblazers tonight as well.

Not a team sport, but since others have mentioned, I too am a huge MMA fan.

Although I'm in NJ now, I'm born and raised in the Pacific NW so that's where my sports loyalties lay. It started with going to football and basketball games at Oregon State...

and watching the Seahawks...

but I guess in the minority here, because pro basketball is my favorite and my absolute favorite team is the Blazers...

Cool seeing all the LAX fans. The DU Pioneers typically have a good team and are fun to watch. We've been Colorado Mammoth (indoor NLL) season ticket holders for like 8 years now.

I should probably also mention the Colorado Rapids since a buddy is coaching them now :)

My son was recruited by DU. Colorado College did as well. Only problem was, the scholarship they offered still left the tuition at 4 times the tuition to Tech.

My sister lived in Denver and was a big Mammoth fan.

I know I'm in the minority in that I can hardly stand to watch just about any sport on TV.

Very occasionally I'll root for the Hurricanes and my college Pirate team(s) from ECU.
