Well stated, I like the point about "until not proving beneficial to my goals" but, how would you weigh a decision you vehemently disagree with against the safety of your own smaller family unit within the group?

My family's safety is a deciding factor, like say, deciding to hold up in an area that can't be protected and defended well. Poor decision. I find an area that can be defended etc. We (family and friends) have an EE plan that involves moving to a rally point close to several areas to supply up, before moving out. My big fear is people, en masse, people are the scariest things to be around. My BIG plan for survival is to get away from masses of sheeple and leeches. You know, the ones that would starve if McCrack's and Starpuke's don't open on time. It's one of the reasons why hunting, fishing and woodland skills have always been on my list of things to stay up to date with. TEOTWAWKI is a possiblity, as with any society, it would just take a catalyst of great magnitude to kick it end. Moose

I don't know about that one...it's an interesting show, they get alot wrong but it is a pretty good concept for an experiment. Just from watching they have made a still, a foundry and a decent example of what to do right is the character Tick.
