Does anyone have any experience with WHX Knives? I saw a WHX Outdoor Hunting Fixed Blade Knife with Heavy-Duty Nylon Sheath on the big river.
Specs:
Material: 440C high-carbon steel
8.7-inch overall length, 4.3-inch blade, heavy duty for hunting & survival. Yet, weight aprox. 6.2 oz
Nylon sheath with belt loop and button closure
Textured handle for comfortable, strong grip

I found the manufacturer:

16-050 SLIP-NOT SKINNER W/SH 9" [Frost Cutlery]
All Frost Cutlery products come with a limited lifetime warranty.

Product Details Item #: 16-050

Brand: Frost Cutlery

Description: Frost Cutlery knives are beautifully made with high quality construction

Configuration: Skinner

Handle Material: Composite (Black)

Features: · Nylon Sheath

I'd pick pretty much any other knife than something made by frost. Something by Ontario, Kabar, Esee, cold steel. Really Frost doesn't make a very well regarded knife.

Those are among the cheapest "knives" made. If you are paying less than $20 it might be OK. Expect it to dull quickly and probably break.

I'm only the messenger guys. I wanted you to know WHX is made by Frost. Pretty sneaky to use another branding for junk.
