Constantly seeing people dumping them at a loss on the exchange and especially losing money on fleabay at $325-$350 shipped for g10 models you lose another 13.5% in fees and about $20 ship for around a $100+ loss on a $380 knife

I think they're one of the better revisions, better steel than the BG versions and the balance is actually spot on, they feel better in hand than my tglbs actually.

For me it was getting an INFI model that for only what $60 more. If I'd have known I wouldn't have got it at all. I'm glad we have a new tg on the horizon

I think the real question is “Why all the TGBG hate?”. I have never seen any positive comments about it, yet IMHO it is better than some of my INFI.

I sure like my TG-M A2!
Then again I like all my Busses, A2, INFI & BG!
I haven’t been doing any type performance testing...
But I’m sure they’re all fine!

I made a living for 5 years 30 years ago with a knife that costs $15 today... I wish I could have afforded a
better blade. We used what was supplied...

But, knife owners are as diverse as knife steel & knife types!
Mine accumulate, I rarely sell, & then mostly to my pals...
Some folks sell knives they don’t use...
Nothing wrong with either...

I suppose the only knife I’ve hated was a folder that broke
while I was abusing the hell out of it chipping ice off a fitting so I could get home in time for Xmas eve supper...
I’m very surprised & lucky I’ve kept all my fingers this long!

Have a great safe weekend all y’all!

There's certain things about this A2 I favor more than Infi when it comes to finishing it off for slickness and flatness.
I sense there will be regrets down the road- It's a great piece at a good price but there's different people involved here with different motivations. If I'm a marketer? I get it, but not why I'm here, it will do what I bought it for- cut and chop stuff while looking awesome!

I too am amazed at how many are listed on E-Bay right now. It is practically flooded with them. I really like the feel of the extra heft of the SE TG-A2. And besides all the really Old School Busses are A2 anyway and it never stopped me from purchasing one when I find them for the right price.

I think a lot of it is market flood. They sold out so fast and many bought multiples as did I. I bought two matching sets to see which I prefer. I have a matching set I will release in the future and not at a loss. I'll wait for sometime to pass for new blood and new offerings to subside and the market to open back up. I do believe that everyone around the fourms that wanted them got them. Put to fact it being a TG in A2 will make this a classic in times to come. They are great working blades that "I believe" will stand the test of time.

I don't believe there is any hate.

Flippers rolled the dice wanting to turn them to fast. $.02

Right Surf- I try not to go there (screwmebay) but I did happen across it earlier in the week, and there's also some A2's in the 5-6 range as well and there's some other interesting stuff but to each his own ;)

This could be one of those stories where the topic will be "Hey, you remember when these were selling for.... god I wish I'd bought em all we'd be rich" ... kind of tone

I sold my set simply due to cant keep em all syndrome. I loved that set, especilly the M version, that was one potent handy knife.

Exactly - all kinds of reasons- I sent my Infi Rat to a new home for no other reason than, I'm never going to use it because it's so duplicated in my little stash. And lets say the "Warden" brought me in for questioning, you've got to believe it yourself if your going to lie about how important it is to have each and every one of these knives .... and I didn't feel it. If I'm going down for the crime it's got to be worth it :D

Well the only Busse I have ever sold was my BB13, which I highly regret now, but it was to fund a Battle Mistress. I do horde them like a packrat lol.

Not me. I think given the choice between the TGBG, TGSE, and the Forsaken Gemini, I'd choose the SE over and over and over again. :)

They're all rad though.

I think it is also that there are just so MANY TG variations out there. It is, to my thinking, a too many and probably has the most versions of any other Busse.

I dont think its so much that theres TGA2 hate. A2 is good stuff, the TG is a great design. Busse released some new models and people who bought other models until they could get an INFI one are now getting INFI Forsaken Gemini starting at $387.

The cool people are getting HOGS. :D;)

That A2 cleans up just as nice as INFI. It also seems just as stain resistant as INFI from some short testing I did this week. The edge is just a tiny bit harder to sharpen than INFI (what isn't :p), but gets to shaving/slicing sharp nicely.
