Why am I doing this?

when people ask why ?? i ask Why Not ?? if it was a good idea or a bad one you won't know till it is done.. then decide while chopping the hell out of something.

"you see, what happened was..." actually, I was working at Newark Airport, so on my way home, I stopped by NJSB to say hi to Aldo (mistake #1). I picked out some of my usual stuff- Nitro-V, plus some w2. I then asked about any 4140 (mistake #2) I got a 125# block 6.5/6.5/12"- that I have yet to mount. this leads us to mistake #3- asking about any short stock. So I also walked away with two/ 6"x24"x .27" plates of S30V (he gave me a per/pound price that was good). And now you know the rest of the story.
