WHY?!? and who would buy this???

It certainly isn't as dumb as some of the knives we see people buying here.

I think it makes a good demo knife for showing every friggin' option a SAK may offer, collectors may like it. Might be a good way to hold "spares", I know I keep losing them toothpicks all the time.

It is a niche product for people who have everything else or who collect. It is not a user more as its status symbol and symbol of company's know-how put together in lavish way.

I was trying to think of a nice way to say the same thing.

But sometimes the effort required to be nice just isn't worth it. :)

Ever heard of Inspector Gadget?

PFR would carry it.

IMO its a collectors item for someone who has everything else. Stick it on your coffee table.

I love SAK's and if I had the cash lying around I would grab the Victorinox counterpart.

It's a collectors item in the same vein as to why people buy $600-700 custom knives that they can't sell for a profit. It appeals to them.

"Features of Wenger Giant Elite 16999 Swiss Army Knife
- Ergonomic handles for easier gripping and control"

Thank goodness they did the ergonomic handles, otherwise it would be impossible to use!

lol I was just going to post the same thing. Ergonomic huh...:jerkit:

Well I've thought about it and I come to this conclusion.
This ....tool if you will..... would be very useful if each tool could some how be detached from its home base and returned. This revision could turn this....tool if you will ..... into something convenient for on the go.
