Where were you lot a dozen or so years ago when I really needed your advice not to get addicted. I am new to hawks - but not the others. Kukries (HI, Tora, Khukuri House) - lost count of the number I own and I really do mean lost count. Busse and Swamp Rat - not as many as kukries but a lot. Dozier - a lot. Fallkniven - quite a few. Katanas (including Nihontos, Lundemo, Howard Clark, Hanwei, Kris Cutlery, Cheness) - maybe close to twenty. Unfortunately blades are my passion and I certainly could have used your advice some years ago. It's too late now. I think you are correct, I am in need of serious help.:D

1055 is pretty inexpensive steel, and the hammer forging process is relatively inexpensive when it comes to mass production. They're no frills working grade tools, not much to em, and that's the way I like it. Albiet inexpensive, 1055 and hammer forging both are pretty ideal for tomahawk manufacturing.

Q...great vid. I had thought that I had seen every modern marvel episode out there but I had not seen that.

Vocab help needed!!!!!

From my first post about the "Poll Hawk", I was under the impression that it was one of those hawks with a really long haft and a small head that you used as a quasi walking stick but I guess it means anything with a hammer like device on the back of the hawk. Is that correct????
