I ordered a Desert Cruiser from eknifeworks.com, shipped to my door for $20. I had no need for the knife, but for the price I couldn't resist. The knife they show on thier site is the wrong picture, you'll actually get the one the thread starter posted. It's a big, comfortable, heavy, knife with a "wave" feature. It could have been a little sharper out of the box, could have been the flat ground edge.
I think there so cheap becaus they needed to dump some surplus. The same thing with the Prowler that I picked up a year ago for the same price. I sold it at a Flea Market for a small profit.
CRKT with AUS8 blades are usable knives and a bargain at $20.
I would like to see them use some better steel. I have a Voodoo with a 154CM blade that is a good knife, they use to make some knives with ATS34, but I haven't seen any in a while. Maybe they could do what Browning did with thier Icestorm knives and use some VG-10.
