Why blue lugs?

I guess you can always get a new silver
Lug put in when it's time for the spa
Treatment..Or maybe a gold lug and
Back spacer. I wonder if they would
Put in gold hardware on a costumer
Request.?

They will do any combination that you desire. Single or double blue silver or gold.

Im not sure even if you asked if they would do a half silver half gold or blue?
That would be interesting to say the least.

CRK sounds like a company, willing to look after customer's best interests..
Ya, I ment matching colours, either gold or silver. But multi colours would be different
for sure.Gold would look good on a large plain scaled 21, and a good option when I have
to send it in. But that won't be anytime soon since I just got my first seb 21 blue single lug.

Thanks for the offer CZIV, I'm afraid I have to pass; You know shipping cost are high these days and customs....

So it seems the blue wears off pretty quickly. And then you have something not very blue but not exactly silver either.

This doesn't seem in keeping with the quality of the rest of the knife.

And what about the silver -- does it wear off, too?

Well, it kind of does, the sandblasted ti slabs get scuffed all over and the lockbar gets broken in, the blade gets nicked. It's a tool and any surface that's moved or handled regularly shows signs of wear. CRK folders get a lot of character over time. Including the blue lugs. Luckily there are options to remedy this if it bothers you. :)

Surely you are not serious that anodizing wear isn't in keeping with the quality of the knife?

Hey flash, i can personally attest to the fact that silver lugs do indeed maintain their original finish :D.
As to the blue ones, yes they do show wear but that is because i actually use mine and i would like to ask you to show me a non worn anodized part on anything that is subjected to daily use.
Looking forward to your response.
