I love my Izula as well. I have yet to find something that compares to it, including price. As Bigfatts stated, the makers area will have plenty of good alternatives at very reasonable prices. Plus you can contact one of them and ask about a custom knife that fits everything you are looking for.
Izula II
There is a simple reason why it hasn't been replaced- you can't improve upon a nearly perfect design. I passed on the chance to get one at dealer cost a few months back when I had to cash for one, and regretted it since. Look at getting either custom scales or (don't quote me on this one) getting scales from ESEE. Don't count the knife out when there are just a few minor things holding it back, especially when those things are pretty easily remedied.I've been carrying this little knife on me every day for the past two years. It fits perfectly in the front pocket, you barely realize it's there because it has no handles, you can comfortably hold it in any grip and the blade size is sufficient for 99% of the everyday tasks of a knife. Not to forget the great sheath.
What I don't like about the knife is the skeletonized handle, the choil (just a design thing IMO) and it could be slightly beefier.
Have any of you found a valid replacement for it?
Thanks guys
