Why Can't I Do It?

Woo-Hoo!

I did it and quickly found the sweet spot on this bruiser.

Snip:

So, I've overcome that first hurdle...now what? :)

Thanks again,

B

You're welcome, and Congrats, you're no longer a kukri virgin! :p ;) :D

I'll just throw this in, with medical science in high tech, body parts are now re-attached every day, so swing away and be careful. Hehe, the first large knife I ever had as a kid, an old 20"bayonet, well, I sharpened that baby and went to chop some grass for our calves, dang, about the fourth whack, I held the grass wad tight and choked down on it, the swing, and I almost removed my left thumb, it left an lasting impression. So, since then getting cut in the field is rare, always watch the target, keep others and animals clear of your work area. Have fun.

Get a neighbor you don't particularly like to try one first while you watch. Then don't do what he did before they cart him off on a gurney.

My brother in law, Gurney H., would indeed cart someone off if'n he was trespassin' & choppin' on his trees; he'd then dump the remains off the cliffs behind his house. i think there's more than a few revenoors accumulated there over the years... :D

I had a similar experience with a rusty ol' sickle as a kid. Still have the scar on the left hand below the pinky.

Wow! That is a woodpile.

When I first glance at the picture I thought that was a spinal column and rib cage down in the lower right corner. Upon further inspection I realized it was just several blades and a 4X4. :)
