After working in my shop most of the day, I came in to make coffee and cut myself on a Cutco knife that my wife left in the sink.
All of the knives I use day in / day out in the kitchen are carbon, not stainless, and I simply wouldn't leave one of my handmade knives in the sink, thus wouldn't cut my finger (scratch is more like it, since the blasted thing won't stay sharp) on one.
Thus proving once and for all that carbon steel is better'n stainless.
