Why did Benjamin Highley changed name to BKS33? Flipper

It’s not a secret that I sell on eBay. I’ve used my real name for years on here because I am not trying to hide anything. There’s nothing wrong with buying and selling in a free capitalist system. I don’t apologize for it, and if people don’t like it, they don’t have to sell to me. However, your behavior yesterday and today has left me feeling afraid since it’s clear you’re a dishonest person - what else might you do to me? Additionally, no one else uses their real name on here, so I’ve decided to stop doing so as well. Please stop harassing me. I’m tired of deleting the messages you’re leaving on my profile.

WI’ll you two give me a break please?

First put each other on ignore.

Second Bluemantra Bluemantra stop posting on his profile

BKS33 BKS33 If you are buying here only to turn around and sell here or somewhere else you are a dealer.
“You two?” I’m tired of being treated as though I did anything wrong. He created this harassment post and there is no law or rule against buying and selling property.

As far as being a “dealer”: does BF have a definition laid out for what a dealer is? Because buying a knife here and there, one at a time, doesn’t seem to fall under any definition of “dealer,” I can imagine. A dealer is someone who either makes the knives and sells them or someone who has a relationship with a maker and distributes them. I am neither.

Please delete this harassing thread. I’m done with this guy and have no desire to interact with him ever again.

DEALER / MATERIALS PROVIDER - Dealers are defined as anyone who purchases at wholesale pricing, or purchases items with the intent to resell (flipping). Other terms for dealers include purveyor, broker, reseller, etc. Materials Providers offer raw materials such as steel, handle materials, or other items related to knifemaking in general as typical stock for sale to the forum members or to the general public via their own store front or website. We reserve the right to make the final determination as to what constitutes a "dealer".

Changed name, changed avatar, now posting a ton of single picture posts to bury the fact that all of his participation thus far has been in the exchange. Getting that post count up for the potential forum knife? You’ve been outed as a flipper by many members, this isn’t the first time it’s been mentioned that you buy knives to list on eBay.

Neither of you gentlemen have earned high marks here. I miss the days of taking a man's word and a simple handshake was enough.
My word is good. That’s all a man has. I’ve never failed to keep a deal I agreed to. Unlike the poster of this thread. The reason he’s harassing me is because I called him out for his dishonesty - which is documented.

Seems like he’s got quite the side hustle flipping knives on eBay. A few of the knives he’s bought through here seem to also be listed in his eBay history as sold, for more than he paid. He should definitely be paying for a dealer membership. Also funny how he has a bladeforums exclusive GEC up for sale for $700, but not listed here on the forums. Too scared of the backlash?

BKS33 BKS33 Stop with the accusations of me

I told you both to put each other on ignore. That would eliminate any interactions between you two
Incorrect sir. I’ve not initiated any contact with him, he did that. And of course, he’s harassing me here (and you’re allowing it), which I will not ignore.

Right. As stated, I can’t ignore him trying to sully my good word. Especially, since you’re doing nothing to stop it.
You decided to start a thread in the G, B, U forum yesterday about me. You should have just followed the feedback rules:

7.Threads started in the Feedback: G, B, & U section should contain facts that support your reason for starting a thread. Remember there is a difference between opinion and fact. Keep your topic civil or hold off posting until you've composed yourself. Complaining about a person that has exercised their rights as a seller or buyer does no good, and it may backfire on you.

Then you decided to leave negative feedback about me on a deal that never happened. You weren't harmed. You just didn't get to buy my knife.

5. If a deal did not happen, there is no iTrader Feedback to leave. Sorry if you were inconvenienced, but life is full of disappointments. As long as you're not out any items or money hasn't changed hands, move along. Consider improving the terms of your sales threads / read the sellers terms carefully in order to avoid this before buying.

I don't know what you hoped to accomplish with your thread yesterday.

People should be aware that you are dishonest. Now they know.
