Why didn't the Native Chief ever make it past Prototype?

I'm sure this has been covered before, but it seems like it would have been an awesome knife. Just wondering.

We have had thoughts to make one after the FRN Native 5 comes out. You need to nag Eric. :cool:

But seriously, thanks for the reply Sal, and I, for one, would really like to see this one come to fruition. Love my native, and I'm sure I'd love a larger native even more.

I Would Buy It, And Own It, And Use It, And Hold It, And Pet It, And Take Care Of It, And Love It, And Squeeze It....

Anyways, I Think It Should Be Produced, I Like The Foliage Green G-10 On It That I Saw A Picture Of.

And, Sal, It Would Be Awesome. And I Just Want To Say, I Am A Spyderco Fan Girl Lol.
 
It is a nice looking blade. I hope it is under 4".
3.5" would be great
 
It's like the Native and the Zowada had a baby...a BIG baby! Kind of reminds me of the Renegade too. I like it. :D

Native Chief @ 3.5", and a Native Warchief @ 4.0-4.25 would work.:) Though gotta give Dustin Turpin credit for Warchief.
 
If we need to bug Eric about it, lets start a Chief Death Chat thread! That is a superb design.
