Why do a lot of you still carry a flashlight?

I can't see where I'm pointing the gun in the dark without it. (I carry a CZ P-01 and a duty holster that accommodates a light is near impossible to find.)

As to the smartphone (imagine an officer of any sort holding up a phone as a light), clicky buttons work fine with gloves on. Smartphones on the other hand require special gloves and I've never found a pair with the tech fingertips that I liked.
 
Now I so want to see someone try to do a sweep and clear with pistol in one hand, Siri barking orders in the other! Is there a tactical entry app?
 
It's much brighter, focused, and long lasting. I use a flashlight pretty much all day at work and cell phones aren't allowed. I like being able to see in the dark.
