I'd just like to add that I've had quite a few Sebs over the last 5 or so years, and for one reason or another they were sold or traded (mostly as I made the moves to go 100% custom in my collecting.)
I've since completely changed my collecting habits, and now I only own knives which I will use, period. Gone are the incredible customs which I would never carry for fear of harming the value. I now own 5 Geno Denning hunters, all of which have seen blood. I own three folders: a C20 M4GTH, a Jones Bros. JK-26, and (drum roll please) a regular small Sebenza (S30V). I carry and use the C20 and the Seb every day (the JK-26 is back with Barry getting green canvas micarta scales fitted) and still get an inordinate amount of pleasure from both knives. The Seb is everything I want and need it to be, sometimes more, never less.
Pick one up on the secondary market (just saw a small BG-42 with dual studs going for -gasp- $240 shipped!!) and you simply can't go wrong. If you (again -gasp-) decide you don't like it, simply put it up for sale and wait an hour or two. At the VERY LEAST you get to check out what all the hoopla is about, and who knows? You just might find the knife to be exactly what you're looking for.
Best of luck to you.
