Why do you buy HI khukuris

Hi, my name is Rick and I am a khukaholic. :o I have gone about 10 hours without buying a khukuri...............................
I buy them because I love them. :D There always seems to be a new HI pruduct that beckons to me for a home. Latest, the UB Memorial khuk. The next??????????? Who knows!! :rolleyes: :p
 
I buy HI khuks because of the sense of wonder I get from seeing a new one and holding it. The idea we do it for the Kamis, or Bill only did it for them is a little simple IMHO. No offense- just my humble Opinion. Bill said he would do it right or not at all. In many ways, that is Capitalism at it's zenith. To this day, Yangdu talks of duty- a kind of destiny obligation from Budhism I'm not entirely understanding. Dharma? Some of you enlightened ones- fill us in. At any rate, when a path is good and mades sense you go with it. And it works. HI khuks work. They work to provide jobs and a better life for some folks in Nepal. They work to provide a modest income for Yangdu. They work to give the consumer a real value in a market dominated by inflation, bloated claims, and high prices.

And the blades are wonder. And I get to meet all of you.
