Why do you have a tomahawk?

I simply like them. You can buy a hand forged hawk for about the same price as a decent folding knife, and you can throw it.
 
I use my Gingrich Tactical Renegade Tomahawk as a tool to chop branches or wood for camping just as I would use a larger bladed knife. The Renegade can get razor sharp and is very useful for opening boxes and other cutting chores as well. To be perfectly honest, it was the hand forged look that really attracted me to the Renegade (it looked really cool) but once I started using it I found it to be a VERY useful tool.
