I often search the forums to see active listings before listing one. Often what knives have sold for... but everyone likes to edit out there prices after a sale.
Why? Just curious

Personal choice mate. It has been debated in a thread about every three months here for the last 5yrs. There is no clear answer and lots of people have lots of views.

Cheers

Is it available at retailers? List it for less than retailers at a price you are comfortable to receive and based on condition.

Is it not available at retailers? The sky is the limit. And by sky I mean a buyer.

List high and lower it if need be. Or list it low if you want a quick sale.

IMO, the only time anothers listing is really helpful is when it's an unfamiliar item.

"Search" is your friend. This has been done to death multiple times per year.
