Why does the Blur have to not suck?

I have one of the Sandvik, red anodized snap on blurs. And it's been my go-to EDC for a couple years now. I pocket it both hands depending on which hand held it last. And I've had 0 issues opening, handling or closing with either hand. Thumb studs work awsome especially with the quick and smooth speedsafe. If I hadn't just gotten the ZT0350, which in my opinion is pretty muxh the ZT version of the blur, my blur would still be my EDC. Mind you, it's not like I'm gonna chuck my blur, it will stay in rotation.

I love the blur from a design standpoint. I probably would still own one but out of the 6 or 7 I have owned I would say at least half of them would close with light pressure applied to spine. And Im not talking a spine whack. Simply any amount of accidental reverse pressure. If it was a frame lock I wouldnt have minded as a strong grip ensures the lock probably wont fail. The ONLY time I have ever had a knife fold on my fingers it was with a blur. Its worth mentioning though that my ownership of blurs predates my membership on this forum. I owned them probably over 10 years ago so im sure they are fine now.

I'm going to resurrect this thread from the dead... I just picked up a s30 blur after never owning a blur ever. Seriously why did I avoid it for so long? After de-assisting it has such great action. Now to pick up a classier carbon fiber inlay model...
