Why does the Emerson sub-forum exist?

In summary, if you wish to see the Emerson forum remain open, then make the effort to contact them on one of their other forums, and ask Ernie to appoint someone to moderate it.
 
Well that's good. Lack of active participation is what gave me the impression it'd been abandoned; I remember seeing at one point the moderator they'd appointed hadn't been online for over a year. If that's going to change, I welcome it.

We don't charge manufacturers for forums on here, the forums are provided as a free service for them to interact with their customers and potential customers. It's bothersome to see some forums wither on the vine for whatever reasons so it's good to see a desire for more active participation.
