Why does the Emerson sub-forum exist?

Well that's good. Lack of active participation is what gave me the impression it'd been abandoned; I remember seeing at one point the moderator they'd appointed hadn't been online for over a year. If that's going to change, I welcome it.

We don't charge manufacturers for forums on here, the forums are provided as a free service for them to interact with their customers and potential customers. It's bothersome to see some forums wither on the vine for whatever reasons so it's good to see a desire for more active participation.
