Why doesn't Spyderco Sell Deep Carry Clips?

I would love if they had the wire clip for the Delica 4 or like you said, even a swapable deep carry clip. I get that some of the knife sticking out may help aid in retrieving the knife from your pocket but I think I would feel better with the majority of the knife being inside the pocket. That being said I have never worried about my Delica falling out of my pocket with its standard clip...

Hell, I'm still trying to figure out why they won't sale collarless t-shirts. The only ones I can find are unlicensed Fleabay's.

Lol, dang, I wish a whole lot more companies were like Spyderco. We'd have her made then boys ;)

Do you know at this time if it will use the same screws and holes as the regular hourglass clip?

Great news Sal, thanks for chiming in. In all honesty, one of the main reasons my Delica doesn't get as much pocket time as my Calys and other deep pocket knives is due to the lack of deep carry clip. I like to be inconspicuous. I've got some Ti for my PM 2 which I'm not crazy about and still plan to buy some of theoriginalspaceman's clips when I have some spare cash. I've actually started carrying my Mini Grips more now since getting factory deep carry clips for them (off the Adamas I believe).

That is great Spyderco is working on a deep carry clip! I love a good deep carry clip. If you want a deep carry option now for your delica, Endura, or PM2 I highly recommend one from Casey, theoriginalspaceman.

Sal, speaking of clips - what precipitated the design change for the clip on the new FRN native? I'm curious if there is some advantage in the new screw placement over the standard spoon clip, since it necessitated the manufacture of a unique clip just for the FRN handle.
