Why doesn't the hunt line get much love?

I like it so far.

It's definitely a toss-up between the North Fork and the HK14716. I like satin finishes more than coatings, but I dislike recurves. Dymondwood makes it less intimidating, but G10 is more resilient. Too bad I can't afford both! The problem is I want the 14715 and the Grizzley Creek, too. Of course, the $40-60 difference between the two helps make the decision easier...
Dang, why can't I be made of money?!?!

I too dislike recurved blades, that's why I removed it from the northfork. Much better now.
But, the HK14716 has been on my radar since it came out, although I also prefer uncoated blades.
I'll be ordering one soon and probably sell the northfork to a hunting buddy that's been eye-balling it.
If I were going to just get one of the two, it would definitely be the HK.

Received my small summit lake today. Initial impressions: little bigger than thought it would be, which is good. Was worried it my be smaller than I wanted. Extremely crisp, solid lock up. I like the feel of the Dynawood better than g10. Extremely sharp. I like what BM did with the blade shape. Wish this is what they would have used on the north fork, but that recurve can be fixed.
