Why don't more people go with blue/black G10?

Cause some of us (ok, maybe just me) like the non-flashy green/black G10 combo... ;)

Yours look very nice!

This is probably my favorite color combination and the second least common one I see besides red/black. Too bright? Unnatural colors? What's up?

In my case it's just a matter of disliking what everyone else likes. If you want something to appeal to everyone, blue and black are probably your best options. Since it's so hard not to like black I just try to avoid blue.

If it appeals to everyone, then why do so few people choose it?

I tend to like more earth tones. Mine will be users and woods blades, plus I just don't think it goes leather, but yours may change my mind.

I have a decent amount of blue/black. I'm not sure why you think very few people have it. There is even a picture thread with only blue/black knives in the swamp. I personally can't stand the yellow/black G10. Only thing that comes to mind is a bumble bee when I see that. I'm dying for some toxic green/black G10. I really don't know why Busse doesn't have that as an option. I have been harassing them (mostly Garth lately) about it and I have had my fingers crossed. SuzQ got her pink (although not really hot pink) she was begging for. Maybe I'll get my toxic green/black someday.

just a quick question for you guys with the LE/satin or whatever version of TGLB you guys have, but how/where/when did you guys get it and is it still avialable from there? I'm looking to get one but prefer the uncoated version.

@ CAlife

If you call Busse and speak with Lexi or Pokey, you can order it with Competition Finish, which is uncoated, but like a rough "satin" finish. If you search "competition finish", "comp finish", or "CF", you should be able to see various Busse knife pix with this cool nekkid INFI finish. Great for users as it's not as "refined" as a normal satin finish and so marring up a beautiful satin finish is not a worry. :)

Back to the topic, I used to really love the bruiser G-10, and still do, but my tastes are changing to micarta over G-10.
But I have a few with and prefer it on Tanker Gray coated blades.

There's a BB & satin HOG Muk in there somewhere...

Top 2 are a TG/UG CGFBM (UG= Urban Gray- this shade is very close to Tanker Gray, unlike the other lighter Urban Gray shade seen on the bottom knife, a BATAC) & TG/BB HG-55...

Here's mine. I kind of surprised myself ordering this one instead of an orange one, but the M390 Para2 got me going on blue.

I happen to really like Blue / Black G-10 and had a good collection of bruisers back when I had a collection. In fact, I would go so far to say that it's one of my favorite combos. I personally can't stand orange or yellow and I may cry if they ever release a toxic green handle.

I really can't stand the feel of G-10 om a user; it feels cold and unnatural to me. I much prefer the feel of micarta (linen, canvas, paper) to g-10 on my Busses and other fixed blades.

Blue and black is an awesome combo. I don't have any but that is because I have a jungle theme going for my collection. ;)

I like it but the texture does have everything to do with a color combo looking good or not. I originally ordered my NMFSH in yellow-black and do think that color looks great on those scales but after seeing pics of the red and black I called and changed to that. I do wish that on the blue-black the the blue parts were black and the black parts were blue if that makes any sense. In other words more black in the scales than blue.
