why don't they make any fancy scallions?

I really like the scallions and was wondering why they don't make as many types of scallions compared to the leek and chive.

I guess it depends on your timeframe. Right now, the Kershaw site lists more Scallions (10) than Chives (6). And that's not even including the 7 new Scallion variations mentioned here: http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/showpost.php?p=5989077&postcount=1

Did they ever do a gold accent scallion?
