well, it's a "workstation class machine", and i split work between office and the home, so... i need to bring that crap with me

I inherited one of those in my new job. Hate it. Tried to do a google hangout and the machine overheated and shutdown. On my phone? no hoo-hoo.
Lame.

I have it set up on top of a printer with external screen, kbd, mouse. Better that way. At my non-moving desk I built a desktop for permanence. Someday I'll go desktop/tablet. Happy to leave the computer behind as often as possible these days.
