Pretty sure the handle will fit, at least. I've read lots of good things about it. The "shango" notch for the firesteel always seems to be the negative point. I could care less if it's there or not, haha.

If the grind was higher it would be very 16 like. Its a really nice looking scandi though. To be Honest I have been looking at it alot too, along with the gso. Let me know how you like it Dubs.

Yah the GSO 4.1, the BOB, and the BHK Woodsman Pro, and possibly the ESEE 4 seem to be the most BK16 like other knives out there... albeit all of those are considerably more spendy than the BK16.
 
Someone posted these for me on the ESEE forum. Looks like the BOB has about the same blade length as the 16, but larger handle. Should work out great for me:

Love using the BK5 to slice flank steak. It has to be one of the most versatile Beckers out there. If you don't already have one, get one!

Thanks man. If I ever get a 5, I'll probably give it to my wife. Maybe I'll get her a 15 instead.
 
I dont do this, but if I can get a quick, prayer, thought, positive emotion sent out into the universe from people. I just had to have a MRI with contrast for a blown out shoulder. I have been most of a year in treatment of one kind or another for it, and its getting worse. If you guys could send your well wishes out to the universe for me to recover Sans surgery, that would be great. As the only bread winner in a single income family of three, being out of work for god knows how long for surgery and healing is not something that me or my family can really afford. All well wishers gladly accepted to the fold.
