Why don't you leave feedback?

I just finished 4 trades. All players are happy with their knives, but only 1 of 4 left feedback. I make sure to post feedback as soon as the item arrives so the other party can just hit the icon on their feedback page.

I guess it really doesn't matter, but I took the time to do it- I think the favor should be returned.

Agreed. You could always ask them to leave feedback. Many folks just move on after the transaction and don't really think about feedback.

I agree I always leave feedback yet I don't get the same back, I feel like an idiot askin' for feedback after few weeks have passed so I just let it go but it still irritates the heck outta me.

I don't ask. It is a courtesy.
I had one guy complain that his score of 0 should be 20+ but no one has left him feedback. He has 1 now yet didn't return the favor.

If they don't leave feedback before me I'll say something like, "I've left you feedback, please do the same for me." For some people it just isn't a priority. I have had a couple feedback ratings come in weeks after the transaction, but it seems rude to just not leave any.

I've also had one guy this year, stay in constant communication until I received his end gave him positive feedback. Then he said he'd let me know when he got my knives. But, he gets them never says another word to me. This guy has a lot of feedback, has gave a lot yet he just drops off and disappears. So, while not a big deal it still comes across as rude trading behavior.

when I did a buy I was very happy but I went to leave feed back first but I just didn't know how to do it. alot of people here on the boards talked to me and I found out what I was doing wrong. maybe it is the same for them.

I always try to remember to leave feedback if I forget i have no problem being reminded. Just finished a trade haven't heard a word don't know if there happy or not at the very least people need to at least do that. Seems to me the higher the feedback score means less chance of them leaving any feedback I'm gonna try to never be like that but I'm sure along the way I missed someone.

The same thing happened to me a few months back with a Randall I sold.
I emailed him a few times to make sure he got it and he never did let me know.

I always leave feedback and wish all would.

I quit leaving feedback, people generally do not recipricate and I don't like to ask for it. From what I can tell reading through TGBU, it's no guarantee of success anyway.

I leave feedback quickly, and don't always get the same. It bothered me at first when I was trying to get some accountability but its not as big now. I still think it is the right thing to do and will leave the feedback whether it gets returned or not

I don't leave feedback for the same reason I don't post pictures. It's too complicated.

The same goes for me.

I personally leave feedback almost immediately after receiving my end of the deal, after checking the knife thoroughly and making sure it was as described. Then I will do my best to email the other person as well and let them know A. That I got my end, and B. That I have left them a +1 feedback. This usually works for me, during trades, they will wait until their end arrives and then they'll usually leave feedback, and when I am buying a knife, they can leave feedback from there.

I feel weird asking for people to leave feedback I dunno why.

I would have no problem leaving feedbacks if I could figure out how to do it. It appears pretty convoluted to accomplish.

I always leave feedback as soon as the deal is done. That way when they see it they hopefully remember to leave mine as well.

If that doesn't work I'll send an email as a friendly reminder to please leave feedback whenever they get a chance.
You earned your feedback so don't be afraid to ask.

I was wondering about this myself, I have left + feedback more than once after a solid deal, and not received a response. I won't ask.

If I'm the buyer I always leave feedback as soon as I can and usually first. If I am the seller I wait for the other party to leave feedback first. If I don't hear anything in a couple weeks I leave it for them anyway. If anyone has any questions on how to do it I would be happy to respond to an email or PM. There was a time for me when I didn't know how to do it as well.
