Recently, I got the idea to make a BIG ole chopper, so I got a 24/3 inch billet of Aldo's 1084 and started cutting. Once I had cut out my profile, I quickly realized that this piece was just too big for my work shop as it is. Rather than panic, I hopped on here and reached out to a man I knew was capable of the job. That man was David Mary, a man who I had already purchased several pieces from. David offered me a generous price and I gladly sent my bar of steel off to become a piece of art. Fast forward a very short wait time and here we are, fully heat treated, ground, and handled. Ladies and Gentlemen, may I proudly introduce my first collaboration with the great David Mary, 'Bigfoot's One Shot'.

As you can see, I have already taken it out to woods for some play time, so I can promise you that this beast chops far beyond anything I have ever played with before. David's grinds allow the massive blade to hold a fine cutting edge while still being sturdy enough to handle chopping whatever you put in front of it. I know that whatever job I come to him with, it will be done exactly as I'd want it to be, with him checking with me every step of the way. I am so thankful for his kindness, his skill, and his work ethic! I cannot recommend his work enough and I think you would be a fool to pass up on an opportunity to work with such a great guy.
