Why I like the Buck Forum

I joined BladeForums to read about Buck knives mostly. I didn't have the photography skills or internet knowledge to participate initially. When I acquired those skills, I started to post more. I must say if I didn't see the forum during the week, Sundays would bring me back. I like some of the other areas, but the Buck forum is my favorite area. The knowledge and willingness to share it encouraged me to join the BCCI for life. The members here are the type I most enjoy on forums. I do more reading than posting, but I enjoy it all.

I still love and use my BUCK knives and I enjoy the Buck forum.

I have learned a lot from many of you here and in some other sections of the forum.

Thank you!

I do not post as much as I did in the past here but I will read this forum when the BF forum does not give me a bunch of error messages. Past discussions.

I have even posted less on Geddinight's Henry rifle forum due to my physical issues. Hello to Dave from New York!

I had some major neck, back, leg, etc. issues, I was laid up for 2 weeks pretty bad in bed - barely out of bed, in severe pain, I was in a real MESS with my bones and nerve endings and I am still using a cane on and off now.

The issues regarding this MESS were not due to my arthritis. Although, I do have continued issues there. My doctor has helped me immensely. I am still seeing him but I am improving physically.

I made some major changes in what I am using in firearms 'weight wise'.

I made some other changes in my life in HOW I do things in the house since I have NO choice in the matter until I get better.

I only RIDE in one specific vehicle now too.

I did NOT make any changes in my BUCK knives and in the one military knife that I have in another name brand. I still have my 'hawks and axe too.

I went for a short drive to Seeley Lake a couple of weeks ago.

I went to the rifle range with my husband for a very short time on Saturday evening. I had to use my cane but I stood up to shoot and sat down when I got tired. Then I shot again and he shot a bit and we came home. I shot well considering on how I felt and due to my bum leg. It was cool outside.

Have a good Sunday.

Cate

I like the Buck Forum mostly for the friendships and the sharing of information. I feel like I've started to get to know some of you. I miss PlumberDave. I rarely, if ever, miss the Sunday Picture Show. Although I'm not a collector, I enjoy seeing all the great custom and older knives. It is good to see a post from you Cate!

I admit that I am not on here very often but this is my go to place to get advice or information on Bucks. Certainly everyone on here has been friendly and very helpful. Thanks!
