Why I'm deleting posts

Delete the whole thread, I say...because that will teach us all to stop replying to threads started by obvious trolls. Takes two to tango...

Ar you certain we should be punished for being cordial to a newcomer we do not yet know?

munk - I don't see it as punishment. I see it as the price we pay for "cleanliness" in the forum. If I have to lose a few posts in order to maintain order here, that's fine with me. But it's pretty easy for me to spot a troll, and I try my darndest to avoid posting in those threads - however tempting it may be. Mostly because I figure whatever I say will end up deleted or ignored anyway.

Has anyone here ever been wrongly arrested or pulled over? I have. Were you angered? or were you grateful? Therein lies the difference. ;) I was grateful the cops were doing their job, even though what they did to me did hurt a bit. Granted, it took a few days to get to where I could feel that way, but eventually I did and I'm happier for it.

Yvsa and I were both fooled once.

I don't care about losing posts either, but that is not what you said in the above. Thanks for clarifying. These people are experts at fostering divisions. It is not anyone's 'fault' that trolls exist.

Cougar is right about not feeding them once we know.

Pretty sad, isn't it? I never expected this here.

Semper, there's a whole bunch of mad people out there, and almost all of them are harmless. But-

Rusty:

It's your call; whatever you feel is the best thing to do, although if he is banned then it would be a shame to lose any valuable threads just because they were touched by him.

Question:

How do you know he keeps coming back, or if it is him? Are you able to spot his IP address, or is it just his style of writing? All I have seen of him is now marked "banned troll."

Regards,

Svashtar

They have ways that are best left undiscussed. Suffice to say, Homeland security is involved and the Kremlin has been notified.

There you go giving away our omnipotent moderator's closely guarded secrets!

Rusty, even the slowest here, myself included, figured out these so called, 'moderators' were actually plants, part of a larger picture.

No one believes they are only interested in blades. Try entering the name, "cougar allen' into the Pentagon's web site and see what happens. I did, and hope those bastards in the black coats never come knockin....oops.

Done the moderator bit myself in days gone past and it is not easy at all. Rusty has my greatest respect for the way he has moderated in this forum. I'll support his decision whatever it is.
