Why is anonymity on forums unacceptable?

Your right James. My wife's parents are always telling me how they never had to lock their doors at home or their car when they were teens. Out in the country where they and my family reside at you think we would be safe, but yes, we lock all doors now and even have security safegaurds as well. It is a shame that this is what has come down over the years. I like to think I trust people, but you got to be realistic as far as what kind of trust you place and where. I agree too that here on the forums, we aren't discussing intimate secretes like you say or info that would result in us being harmed phsyically ,,, maybe mentally though

Most of us are here for the same reasons, trusting others also involves common sense!

Did I give my age out from the earlier comment of this particular post?
