Why is New Graham down?

I saw something about an update of some sort in the works there, earlier today. Stocking up on new goodies, hopefully. They'll be back.

We are doing some hardware upgrades in order to increase speed, security and software options. Guys told me there would be rolling outages internationally and domestically based on area ISP's as the upgrade continues. Don't go away. It's just some growing pains.

How about making the search function a little more effective too? Thanks!
BTW: the Spyderco Quicklink doesn't display all the models

GB, webmaster has to update that, and he has not got to that. Hopefully we will be able to 'redistribute' models based on common sense instead of how the computer wants to line up models. As for search, I really like it, but probably use it more than anyone else. PM you suggestions if you don't mind and I will see what we can do.

Geez, a red thumbs down next to New Graham's name in GBU just because their website was temporarily down? Sometimes websites go down. That's life. (I do understand really wanting a knife though.:o :))

New Graham Rocks and I've never had any issues with them on any of my purchases.

This is a moved thread.

The thumdown was put up wherever this thread started.

Not in context on this board.

I put in a request to the Mods to remove the red "thumbs down". There is no negative customer service issue in this thread and it is now in TGBU.

Update: request denied... oh well, I tried. :)

No worries. New Graham is so well known that this is no problem.

The instant I saw the Red Thumb, my instinctive response was: "this is just a misunderstanding."

Like many here, I've deal with New Graham many times with uniformly excellent results.

I placed an order for a Boker Wharcom earlier today, and received no e-mail notification. A simple call to the shop and I spoke with a nice and very helpful person who explained that they were upgrading servers and my knife had indeed been shipped. Great customer service and support I have nothing but good things to say about New Graham.

btw I have already used a band-aid form the dispenser they sent me with an earlier order. Apparently the "You're gonna need em" was more prophecy than humor.:D
