Got me thinkin about the worst possible knife for my needs. I envision in this hellish dream a scandi with a recurve blade profile. Yikes, the horror of it all...

Traditional puukkos were used for all kinds of tasks, not just woodworking, although the root name derives from Finnish for "wood." I suspect that after a few sharpenings they worked more into a convex edge.
