Is the crafmanship in the ESEE 6 worth the money even though it has 1095 steel?
Like the RTAK 2 is cheeper it has 5160 steel and it is larger.
Why is the ESEE so expansive is it worth it , what makes it expansive?

Esee generally costs a bit more. One of the perks for spending the cash is the lifetime unconditional warranty.

They're the price they are because people are willing to pay for it. IMO ESEE's are worth every penny.

ESEE knives are definitely worth the money. They are well built and have a warranty that is second to none.

Also one thing to factor in between those two knives it the fit and finish on the ESEE will be better than the Ontario.
IMO ESEE are worth the money, the one fixed I will never part with is my 3 mil.

ESEE's come with really nice sheaths as well (well the Candiru sheath is pretty basic) but a lot of the others are excellent Kydex sheaths or a very nice molded sheath like the 6 has.

They have an excellent warranty but other companies offer basically the same warranty, even if they don't come right out and say it (probably as the deterrent to people who might test to failure for a youtube video and then try to get a new one). Really what you're paying for is attention to detail in manufacturing and quality control. The ontario versions of the knives usually have a very minor cosmetic flaw or two while the ESEE is spot on and has a superior heat treatment than ontario or ka-bar.

The warranty, fit and finish, and sheaths they come with are probably a part of it.
They are good knives and worth what they cost.

It is a robust gathering of metal particles that cannot be contained within its borders, and so must conquer all neighboring blades or turn upon itself.

Edit: Oh, you meant expensive.

You mean "expensive?" ESEE knives are definitely worth every penny because they are well-built; I have a RAT-6 is a beast. ESEE also has a great warranty.

The edge retention on ESEE knives is ridiculous. They are very good knives, you actually get a lot of bang for your buck with an ESEE.

The knives popularity is expansive. perhaps that's why they are a bit more expensive.

The cost comes from the high fit, finish, quality control, warranty, etc. etc. The quality of the ESEE's is better than the Ontarios in pretty much every category.

AMEZING!!!!

It's not expensive at all. It's a very reasonable price. The heat treat on their 1095 makes their knives retardively good. I've chopped a tree down with it and it's still stupid sharp. I've overpaid for my Esee to help out my local dealer and I have no regrets.

So this warranty is it the same kind as Zippo have? That even if i act like a total lunatic and use my knife as a hammer, is the warranty still ther and i get a new one?
